Project Epoch is a Classic+ server in active development for over a year, built with a singular goal: to bring you back to the world you love—enhanced with high-quality, thematic, and immersive content carefully woven into a Blizzlike foundation. Running on the Wrath of the Lich King 3.3.5 client, Project Epoch has been extensively modified to recapture the feel of Classic WoW, all while opening the door to new possibilities grounded in rich Warcraft lore. On September 9, developers announced on Discord that Blizzard sent a cease-and-desist letter. The team complied immediately.
